LéO Africa Institute, a leadership think tank dedicated to developing and advancing the capacity of young and emerging leaders to live successful and impactful lives, has announced its new board of directors for the years 2023-2025. The new board is composed of experienced leaders from a variety of industries, including business, leadership, communications, and innovation.

For the past two years, our outgoing board of directors at the LéO Africa Institute led by Carl Manlan the Vice President, Social Impact for Visa Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa, has been a dynamic and vibrant group. The outgoing board gave strategic direction to a young institution and their transformative experience broadened the LéO Africa Institute’s horizons.

During their tenure, these spirited leaders become an integral part of the Institute’s daily operations. They worked alongside our esteemed team of experts, comprising twenty-three members of faculty, five members of the secretariat, and a network of one-hundred-six fellows. Together, they collaborated on diverse tasks and delved into the intricacies of the Institute’s work, immersing themselves in our way of life.

We cherished members of the outgoing Board of Directors, and we owe much of our success to their unwavering dedication and passion. Without their invaluable contributions, we would not have achieved the level of excellence and innovation that defines us today.
