Fiona Mbabazi

Fiona was among the pioneers who started the first private TV station (TV 10) in Rwanda where she worked before re-joining Rwanda Broadcasting Agency where she is a News Anchor and Reporter. With a career in media spanning 6 years, Fiona currently serves as Deputy Chair of the journalists’ Focal group for the African Court on Human and Peoples rights.

She is a member of Human Rights First Rwanda, and has moderated high-level meetings, including the Heads of State meeting during the World Economic Forum (Grow Africa) 2016. She is a Fellow of the Young and Emerging Leaders Project of the LéO Africa Institute.
