Heritage Seminar Retreat

Heritage Seminar Retreat 2024

Journeys Back Home: Reflections on Culture, Heritage & Leadership in today's World.

This year’s Heritage Seminar will be held under the theme “Journeys Back Home: Reflections on Culture, Heritage & Leadership in Today’s World,” and will take place from 1-3 June, 2024 at  Mutima Villa  in Jinja City. During the seminar weekend our fellows will indulge in the rich cultural heritage of Eastern Uganda—a region that holds immense potential for Uganda’s economic transformation as the source of the Nile and a growing manufacturing hub.

This year’s Heritage seminar offers a unique opportunity to delve into the profound connections between culture, heritage, and leadership of Eastern Uganda in our contemporary global landscape. Through interactive conversations with cultural and political leaders from Eastern Uganda and
cultural showcases, fellows will explore the significance of preserving cultural roots, navigating heritage challenges, and fostering inclusive leadership practices.

Join us at Mutima Villa from 1-3 June and be part of the conversation shaping the future of cultural preservation and inclusive leadership in today’s dynamic world.
