April 13, 2022 – LéO Africa Institute today announced a strategic partnership with Segal Family Foundation (SFF) that will allow both organizations to strengthen their shared core values, including a commitment to nurturing and supporting young African leaders to reach their full potential and create innovative ideas that address different societal challenges.
“Segal Family Foundation will provide funding and integrated capacity-building support to strengthen governance and administrative systems and expand the fundraising capacity of the Institute,” said Segal Family Foundation’s Twasiima P. Bigirwa.
This partnership is an exciting opportunity for Segal Family Foundation and LéO Africa Institute to scale up intergenerational spaces for leadership conversations, where young and emerging leaders meet to form a consensus on action towards addressing prevailing challenges in their countries and the region today.
In addition, the partnership brings together the collective expertise of LéO Africa Institute and Segal Family Foundation networks, creating a community of passionate, supportive, like-minded leaders and visionaries.
“We are keen on this partnership with Segal Family Foundation because it best places us to build stronger systems and networks to create the impact we want to see,” said LéO Africa Institute Deputy Director Kwezi Tabaro.
