Twasiima P. Bigirwa is an Afro-feminist writer and lawyer whose work is premised on shifting public perceptions and challenging structural limitations to minoritized people. She continues to write on systemic inequalities, contemporary feminism, international development, and other emerging topics in order to inform and teach.

Twasiima supports organisations and individuals that are looking to review and invest in new ways of work to include a decolonial approach to international development, focusing on local leadership, moving smart investment to communities, and rethinking development as a whole. She is passionate about building and organising locally generated and sustainable development models that centre the needs of communities across Africa.
