Inshuti ZirimwabagaboProgrammes Coordinator

Inshuti Zirimwabagabo is a professional lawyer with vast expertise working with diplomatic missions and non-governmental organizations. Inshuti oversees a range of projects at the LéO Africa Institute as a Programmes Coordinator.

As a National Coordinator of the regional “Great Lakes Youth Network for Dialogue and Peace” project, Inshuti is responsible for project activities in Uganda. She plans, prepares, and implements national and regional activities in Uganda and supports regional activities in other project countries.

Inshuti also works closely with the Young and Emerging Leaders Project (YELP) Executive Committee to shape the programming of the Fellowship and sustain its relationship with the institute.

Before joining the Institute, Inshuti worked with the Austrian Development Agency, supporting the overall management of the Governance portfolio in the focus area of the Rule of law, Access to Justice, and Observance of human rights.

The Middlesex University London alumnus holds a Post Graduate Diploma from Rwanda Bar School (Legal Institute of Legal Practice and Development) and is a member of the East Africa Bar Association.

She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Administration at the University of Birmingham.
