Agnes IgoyeNational Coordinator, Prevention of Trafficking in Persons, Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration, Uganda Ministry of Internal Affairs

Agnes Igoye is a Ugandan social worker and campaigner against human trafficking. She serves as the country’s Deputy chair of the National Prevention of Trafficking in Persons office – Uganda. She is also the Training Manager at the country’s Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control.

Agnes is an Aspen Institute New Voices Fellow and Founder of the Huts for Peace initiative which helps construct homes, especially for women who have been internally displaced by insurgencies in Gulu, Uganda.

Agnes is an expert in Leadership, International Development, Human Trafficking, and Organized Crime.
