Project Launch Conference

Tuesday June 15
starting at
09:00am EAT

Details

The launch conference served as a platform to draw attention to the action and to present it to relevant stakeholders in Uganda, where activities will be implemented, with the aim of raising the visibility of the EU and the present action and also advertising it to the general public through media coverage of the event. The launch will take the form of a half-day virtual event and will attract relevant stakeholders.

These participants constitute the stakeholders for the project and included: the EU country delegation, leaders in government and the local community, media and civil society representatives, as well as the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, LéO Africa Institute, and Cornerstone Development Africa teams.

The main purpose of the launch conference is to present the logic of interventions to the authorities and other relevant stakeholders of the project implementation. The understanding of the project strategies and intervention logic will allow them to get actively involved and participate in all phases of the activities implementation of this project.
