Bio

An activist, creative, photographer and community worker. I am passionate to work and see my community having a positive story of hundreds of youths being innovative and having decent income to be a able to be part of the sustainable Development Goals(SDG) as youths to attained this goals out of poverty by 2030. I am also passionate about empowering young girls in my community to have and live a life of dignity despite their poor backgrounds. Whilst volunteering in my community and other informal settlements, I am engaged in: empowerment and capacity building, community worker, grassroots activist part of social justice center, sexual reproductive health, civic education, donation of reusable pads and sanitary towels, leadership skills training, basic technology and tailoring empowerment. Judy started an initiative called "SILENT VOICES" (SIVO), which is by girls for girls that will empower girls to understand their value in the community, rights and role as woman in the society. The initiative aims to empower young mothers from slums, women with disabilities and children, giving them a platform for them to speak, express themselves and use storytelling as a way of therapy.
