Dr. Prosper Ahimbisibwe is a medical doctor and healthcare entrepreneur with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Makerere University. He is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of MSCAN Uganda and CEO of Kangaroo Plus, both MedTech innovations focused on improving maternal and neonatal health in resource-limited settings. MSCAN develops portable ultrasound devices that connect to mobile phones or laptops to help detect risk factors of maternal mortality, while Kangaroo Plus is a neonatal jacket designed to support thermal care for preterm and low birth weight babies through maternal contact.

He is an award-winning innovator, having received the Ministry of Health Uganda's Heroes in Health Award for Innovator of the Year in 2020. Dr. Ahimbisibwe is also an Acumen Fellow (East Africa, 2023), a Global Shaper with the World Economic Forum's Kampala Hub, and a Young Emerging Leaders Project Fellow with the LéO Africa Institute (YELP Class of 2018). His work sits at the intersection of clinical medicine, innovation, and social entrepreneurship, with a strong focus on scalable solutions to improve health outcomes for mothers and new-borns.
