Joanitah N. Nalubega is a visionary leader in technology, digital skilling, and health innovation. As Head of Programs at Refactory, Uganda's leading software skills academy, she drives initiatives that equip young people with in-demand tech skills, bridging the gap between talent and opportunity in the digital economy.

With a background in Industrial Chemistry, Joanitah has built a diverse career as a user experience researcher, digital skills curriculum and program strategist, leveraging technology for social impact. She is the co-founder of DrugDash, a platform improving drug stock management in health centers under UNFPA's UpAccelerate Program, and a core member of Afrigal Tech, pioneering mobile diagnostics for sickle cell anaemia.

She is also a community builder and mentor, a co-founder of Kafunda Kreative, a fellowship empowering young creatives. As a Young & Emerging Leaders Fellow (Leo Africa Institute, 2017) and former Next Einstein Forum Ambassador to Uganda (2017-2019), she is actively involved in leadership and service, including serving with the Rotaract Club of Bukoto. Currently pursuing a Master's in Public Health, Joanitah is committed to leveraging technology to improve healthcare access in underserved communities.
