As our Institute marks a pivotal shift after a decade of self-built capacity, we are now focusing on forging networks of like-minded individuals and entities to amplify our reach. This evolution extends our mission to cultivate transformative, ethical leaders across Africa and beyond, fostering synergies that drive sustainable change.

Nsibirwa's illustrious career embodies this ethos of purposeful collaboration. A cursory look at her X profile reveals passion and boldness for the causes she spends her life’s labour to. She cares deeply about people and brands. She stands out as a great African. She does not mince words about her determination to transform Africa and beyond.

Beginning as Press Attaché at the French Embassy in Kampala (1992-1994), she honed cross-cultural communication skills before advancing through media and marketing roles at Scanad Uganda (1995-1997), Saatchi & Saatchi (1999-2002), and MTN Uganda (2002-2005). Her transition to finance—leading retail and marketing at Commercial Microfinance (2005-2006) and DFCU Bank (2006-2010)—demonstrated her ability to bridge sectors for shared growth.

As Head of Marketing and Communications at Vision Group (2011-2019), where she chaired the Uganda Media Owners Association (2016-2018), Nsibirwa championed industry-wide partnerships. Her entrepreneurial ventures at Weaver Options (2010-2011), Urge Uganda (2019-2022), and Ayiva Consulting (2022-2023) further showcased adaptive leadership, culminating in her current NMG role since December 2023.

A board member of key institutions like the Uganda Marketers Society (since 2020), The Innovation Village (since 2023), African Centre for Media Excellence (Chair since 2021), Monitor Publications (since 2022), and Greenhill Academy (since 2021), Nsibirwa exemplifies building ecosystems for collective impact. Her accolades—ranking 5th among Uganda’s 100 Leading CEOs in August 2024 and receiving the National Medal (Diamond Jubilee) in 2020 from President Yoweri Museveni—underscore her influence.

In her keynote address, Nsibirwa will draw from her rich tapestry of experiences to advocate for collaborative frameworks that unite leaders in shaping Africa's future. Her address will center on three core pillars of transformational leadership:

Leading with Purpose
Nsibirwa will explore how personal conviction and ethical decision-making form the foundation of effective leadership, emphasising the critical importance of aligning individual values with institutional mission.

Courage and Accountability
She will challenge leaders to demonstrate unwavering integrity while navigating the complex political, social, and operational landscapes that define contemporary African leadership.

Collaborative Leadership
Drawing on practical examples, she will illustrate how strategic partnerships across media, civil society, and other sectors can amplify impact and drive meaningful societal change.

Throughout her speech, Nsibirwa will demonstrate how transformational leadership extends beyond institutional influence—it shapes narratives, empowers others, and catalyses long-term systemic change.

Following the keynote, Angelo Izama will moderate a Fireside Conversation with Nsibirwa. This dialogue will delve deeper into real-world examples of principled, transformational leadership, exploring how courage, collaboration, and excellence converge to create lasting impact. The conversation will engage attendees with practical insights for aspiring leaders navigating complex environments, while anchoring the discussion firmly in this year's ALG theme: building together for impact.

This year's Annual Leaders Gathering promises to ignite dialogues that propel the Institute's network toward greater, interconnected achievements.
